Spencerville;  Alice L. White, 81, of Spencerville, passed away at 9:31 PM Saturday, January 2, 2021 in the Lima Manor following an extended illness.

She was born November 1, 1939 in Elida, a daughter of the late Bevan Forest and Elizabeth Rachel Sawmiller White.

Surviving are her close nephews and nieces; Timothy (Debbie Watkins)  Potts, , Misty Potts,  Lacinda (Nelson) Augsburger and Rachel D. (d) (Randy) Ketterer, all of Lima and many other nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces.

Alice was a graduate of Spencerville High School. She was a lifelong member of the Spencerville First Baptist Church. She retired from Aircraft Dynamics in Elida in computer and secretarial work, after many years service.

A family life appreciation gathering will be 10:30 AM  Thursday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with burial to follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

With Covid – 19 regulations in mind, face coverings and social distancing required, the family will receive friends from  6 until 8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held later date in the Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Fletcher officiating.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
