Angela Janeen Croft, 53, of Lima, passed away at 3:27 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Lima Memorial Health Systems in Lima.

Angela was born on May 24, 1970 in Lima to the late Douglas J. Croft and Euretta jean (Hardesty) Yule. She grew up and attended Wapakoneta High School. Not long after attend WHS, Angela acquired her GED. With her GED, she attended Apollo Career Center where she obtained her licensing to be an LPN. Caring for others and being a nurse was something Angela was extremely passionate about. Nursing was her calling and she was able to do that for over 20 years working at the Shawnee manor.

Her passion for caring didn't stop at being a nurse. She deeply loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Angela was extremely selfless and always put others before herself. She would be best described as a very social extroverted homebody. She loved having company over and most times were spent on the porch.

Angela is survived by her three children, Kalandra West of Columbus, Sarena (Austin Towsey) Hardia of Lima, and Mariah Hardia of Lima; seven grandchildren, Ja'Kyiah Allen, La'Nyiah Allen, A'Shyiah Allen, Zacarious Manley, Maliyah Towsey, Mikal Towsey, and Kaleigha Burns; four siblings, Cindy Croft of Spencerville, Chris (Rafael) DeLeon of Waynesfield, Tara Robertson of Lima and Douglas J. Croft II of Spencerville; and her step-father, Gerald Yule of Spencerville; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas J. Croft and Euretta Jean Yule.

There will be a visitation from 12:00-4:00 p.m. followed by her funeral at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Angela and her family.
