Spencerville;      Barbara Ann Arthur, 73, of Elida, formerly of Spencerville, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Barbara was born on March 20, 1950 in Harriman, TN to the late Taskel and Bonnie (Norris) Mays. Because of limited job opportunities at the time, her family had moved to the Lima area where Barb grew up and graduated from Perry High School in the late 60's. After raising her family, she gained employment with Good Year, working as a press operator until she retired.

Barb greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, Tracy (Melissa) Triplett of Roebuck, SC, Travis (Tina) Triplett of Lima, and James "Nick" Arthur of Lima; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two siblings, Clifford Mays of Dalton, GA and Linda Dykes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Arthur; and six siblings, Billy Mays, James Mays, Ralph Mays, Larry Mays, Sue Tally, and Beverly Long.
