Spencerville;  Benjamin C. ("Benjie") Oehlhof, 62, of rural Spencerville, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his residence.

He was born September 22, 1958 in Lima, a son of the late  Benjamin F. and Betty Jo Adam Oehlhof. He was formerly married to  Susan Oehlhof of Greenville.

Surviving are his twin children, Adam B. (Taylor)  Oehlhof of Sidney and Abby Leigh (Tristan) Ramsey of Liberty, Indiana; two grandsons, Coby Barger and Baker Oehlhof and his brothers, Brian (Cindy) Oehlhof and Brad (Janet) Oehlhof, both of Spencerville.

Benjie was a 1976 graduate of Spencerville High School and worked as a cement mason and foreman for the Peterson Construction Company for over 25 years.

His passion after his family was older cars , his latest one is his 1962 Red Corvette, Drag Racing and the "Funny" cars, car shows and Rock Music of the 70's and 80's.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Ted Bible officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 AM until the service time at the funeral home.
