SPENCERVILLE — Betty Lou Krick, 92, of Spencerville, died 9:00 a.m., Thurs. Jan. 25, 2018, at the Roselawn Manor, Spencerville. She was born Nov. 25, 1925, the daughter of Frank & Iva (Detrick) Stonehill, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 27, 1944, she married Eugene M. Krick, who preceded her in death on May 9, 2016.
Survivors include, a son, Michael E. (Peggy) Krick, Spencerville, 4 grandchildren, Stacey Gregory, Spencerville, Beth Dunahay, Lima, Kathy McMichael, Lima, Joe McMichael, Lima, 3 great grandchildren, Zach Gregory, Trey Hunter, Amber Stapleton, a sister, Ann Zwiebel, Spencerville,
She preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald "Doc" Stonehill & Robert "Bob" (Doris) Stonehill, 4 sisters, Helen Stonehill, Dorothy Stonehill, Mary (Harold) Wolfe, Martha (George) Schlagbaum, and a brother-in-law, Walter Zwiebel.
Mrs. Krick was a computer tech for Ex-Cell-O Corp and then Textron, where she retired in 1989. She was a member of the Spencerville United Church of Christ and the Spencerville VFW Auxiliary #6672. She and Gene enjoyed bowling and participated on a team together. They loved to travel, seeing the different State Parks, the Badlands in South Dakota, and Disneyworld.
Funeral services will 10:30 a.m., Mon. Jan. 29, 2018, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, OH, with Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Sun. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Spencerville VFW.
