Billie JoAnne Daniels, 51, of Spencerville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in her home.
Billie was born on October 13, 1974, in Lima to Mary Ann (Poe) Daniels and the late John Wesley Daniels Jr. She was a 1992 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley before attending Ohio Northern University. Billie finished furthering her education by graduating from The Ohio State University with her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. During her time in college, she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Billie began her teaching career as an Elementary teacher before going into Special Education. She was employed through the Midwest Regional Education Service Center, while teaching at Upper Scioto Valley Schools.
Billie is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Daniels; five children, Albert Justin (Katelyn) Suever of Spencerville, Elijah Braden Suever of Spencerville, Ian Eric Suever of Delphos, Oliver Kristine Suever of Spencerville and Kiera JoAnne Suever of Spencerville; four siblings, Edward (John) Daniels of Plain City, John (Tricia) Daniels of Marysville, Leah (Craig) Hurley of McGuffey, Lee (Dawn) Rowe; special aunt, Cheryl Daniels of Plain City; and her grandson who will make his arrival in March. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Daniels Jr.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00-4:30 p.m. followed by her memorial service at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Father David Ross officiating. Burial will take place in the Spring at Preston Cemetery in Alger. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials could be made to ALS United Ohio or to the family.
