SPENCERVILLE — Carolyn Sue Lee, 75, of Spencerville and formerly of Continental, passed away peacefully at 4:50 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in the Roselawn Manor in Spencerville following an extended illness, with her family at her side.
She was born April 22, 1943 in Continental, a daughter of the late Carl and Nora Hempker Williams. On February 18, 1978 she married Paul E. Lee who survives, along with her son Greg Leidy of Spencerville and step-son; Timothy (Shelly) Lee of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren; Megan (Dan Perry) Logan of Pittsburgh, PA.; Heather Jolliff of Ft. Wayne, IN.; Matthew Kantner of Defiance and Isaac Lee of Tallahassee; four great grandchildren; Korbin, McKinley and Lykan Charles and Josiah Banks and three sisters; Dolores Wilson of Continental, Shirley (Bob) Ernsberger of Waterville and Donna (John) Leatherman of Oakwood and sisters-in-law; Mary Williams and Helen Williams.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Jeffrey Leidy, step-son Paul "Bud" Lee, Jr., great granddaughter Mackenzie Charles and several siblings.
Carolyn was a graduate of Continental High School and had worked in the plating dept. at the former Ohio Decorative Products in Spencerville and had been a dispatcher for the Wannamacher Trucking Co. in Lima as well as the Spencerville EMS. She was a licensed Cosmetologist.
She was a member The Friends Church, EMS and Fireman's Auxiliary, all in Spencerville. She enjoyed Knitting, Crocheting, arts and crafts and singing.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastors Ron Sanderson, Andrew Atkins and Charles Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
