Lima;       Carrie Lynn McBee, 46, of Lima, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at her home.

Carrie was born on April 27, 1978 in Trenton, MI to Gary and Roberta "Bobbie" (Eck) McBee. At the age of 14, Carrie was involved in an ATV accident, that left her unable to walk or talk, but you could see what she wanted to say in her eyes and her smile. Carrie was cared for by her amazing parents daily for the past 32 years in their home. They made sure she had every opportunity to be included in the outside world.

Carrie graduated from Shawnee High school. After school, she attended Marimor Industries, which gave her the opportunity to make friends, be out of the house and have something to "talk" about when she got home. Sent home with a note about her day, she would light up at the mention of what she had been doing.

Carrie loved watching television, bowling trips with friends, her caregivers, pets and family. She took pride in being "the best Aunt ever".

Carrie is survived by her parents, Gary and Bobbie McBee, Lima, Ohio. Siblings, Steve (Amy) McBee, Bluffton, SC and Angie (Kevin Grant) Treadway, Lima, OH. Nieces and Nephews, Madison (Matt) Tran, Alayna (Shaun Wenrick) Treadway, Colton (Erica Scarpitti) Treadway, Grant Treadway, David (Asya ) Grant, Kaylee Grant, Liz (Alec Darby) LeMaster and Jonathn Ball. Great Neices, Delaney and Harper Grant. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved dog, Maggie. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Eldon and Alice McBee, Mary McGown. Aunts and uncles, Terry McBee, Verla Elliott, Lynn Eck and James Eck. Recently her beloved dog of 15 years, Bella.

There will be a visitation from 2:00-4:00 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery near Jeffersonville, OH. Memories may be shared and viewed by visiting www.baylifffuneral.com.
