CHARLOTTE BROWN

SPENCERVILLE — Charlotte A. "Lolly" Brown, 72, of Spencerville, died at 4:20 PM Friday, September 16, 2016 at St. Rita's Medical Center where she was admitted following a fall at her home on Thursday, with her family at her side.

She was born October 11, 1943 in Lima, the daughter of Arlo "Bill" and Myrtle Susan Doyle Decker, who are deceased. On November 23, 1961 she married Claude B. Brown, who survives.

Survivors also include 3 children; Jeanette L. (Christopher "Butch" Warnecke) Boedecker of Spencerville; Patrick A. (Rebecca S. "Reba") Brown of Spencerville and Christina L. (Kristy L. "Kris") Brown of Lima; 6 grandchildren; Taylor Mulholland, Ethan Boedecker, Zachary Brown and Jacob Brown, all of Spencerville; Jordann Umfleet of Ypsilanti, MI. and Katelyn Hrinko of Cape Coral, FL. And her brother; Michael William (Sue) Decker of Spencerville.

Charlotte was a 1961 graduate of Spencerville High School. She was a well loved lady and was best known for Charlotte's Cakes, having made beautiful wedding cakes over the years. She had also worked at Trim-Trends, Spencerville IGA and Ohio Decorative Products, all in Spencerville. She loved canning and gardening for her family and was a member of the VFW Post 6772 and American Legion Post 191 Auxiliaries of Spencerville and was an active member of the Spencerville High School Alumni Assn.

She is "Going Home", so "Come Visit Her" and her family for a celebration of life at the Spencerville Church of the Nazarene from Noon until 3 PM and 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the fellowship center.
