CHERYL MOELLER

SPENCERVILLE — Cheryl "Sue" Moeller, 57, of rural Spencerville, died at 1:20 a.m. Feb. 12, 2015, while comfortably in her home beside her loving family.

She was born Nov. 21, 1957, in Lima, to Gary Neil and Shirley Ann Aldrich Adams, who survive in Elida. On Dec. 11, 1982, she married Broderick J. "Rick" Moeller, who survives.

Mrs. Moeller was a librarian at Spencerville schools for 15 years. She was a 1976 graduate of Elida High School and had worked at Sohio Chemical/Terra International in Lima and had been a driver's license examiner for the state of Ohio, working in Lima, Findlay and Toledo.

Sue was a warm, loving soul with a full-of-life personality and a friend to everyone she met. As a school librarian, she delighted in helping and reading aloud to children. She never turned down a chance to be on the golf course or to root on the Buckeyes. Her philanthropic spirit moved her to volunteer at the Fassett Equestrian Therapy Farm. Sue enjoyed any association wiith the outdoors, annual trips to Canada and relishing in God's creation. A spirited Spencerville Bearcat fan, she loved cheering on local athletics, especially when her daughters and loved ones were playing. Above all, her most prized accomplishment was being a devoted wife and a proud mother, always at work to bring her family closer.

Survivors also include four daughters, Mara Sue Moeller, of Schaumburg, Illinois, Lindsey Michelle Moeller, Brooke Nicole Moeller and Alison Rene Moeller, all of Columbus; her mother and father-in-law, Mary and Howard Morris, of Spencerville; a brother, Douglas (Candy) Adams, of Elida; two sisters, Tracy (Steve) Sdao, of Lima, and Leslie (Jerry) Kunz, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Jeff Moeller, of Spencerville; a sister-in-law, Kelly Wolfe, of Anna; and 11 nieces and nephews, Gary (Trista) Adams, of Lancaster, Aubrie Breedlove, of Elida, Jen (Brian) Loose, of Defiance, Tahler Sdao, of Lima, Abby Kunz, of Chillicothe, Tanner Kunz, of Chillicothe, Max Moeller, of Spencerville, Shelby Moeller, of Spencerville, Jennifer Wenger, of Boston, Sara Wolfe, of West Milton, and Garrett Wolfe, of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Mary Adams, Luther Aldrich and Elizabeth (Reed) Strauser; a father-in-law, Richard Moeller; and a brother-in-law, Doug Moeller.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. Pastors Greg Gardner and Holly Portwine will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Moeller Cemetery, east of Spencerville.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spencerville Education Foundation for the library/media center.
