LIMA — Christina J. Salsburey, 65, of Lima, passed away peacefully in her home at 9:36 PM Monday, November 6, 2017 with her family at her side, following a six month illness.
She was born May 24, 1952 in Lima, a daughter of Lucien C. and Geraldine R. Gass Hardeman, who are deceased. On December 31, 1980 she married Robert W. "Bob" Salsburey, who died April 26, 2015.
Surviving are her three children; Tammy J. Hardeman, April R. Salsburey and Josh T. (Amanda) Salsburey, all of Lima; nine grandchildren; Tiffany and Teeara Brenneman; Alexis, Kylee, Hailey, Ric, Jr. and Braylon Makin; Jada and Jayce Salsburey; two great grandchildren; Kyren and Aariyah and four siblings; Connie L. (James) Miller of Uniopolis; Debra K. (John) Roby and Jeanna L. Protsman, both of Lima and Rodney T. (Lisa) Hardeman of Spencerville; her special friends; Shelly Werling and Jawnee Hale of Lima and Marie Klosta of N.C. And special neighbors; Cher, Tim and Denise.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; twins Taylor and Tyler.
Christina was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked 11 years for Lutheran Social Services in Lima. She loved being with her grandkids, crafts, and loved being outside working in her Sunflowers.
The family would like to convey "Special Thanks" to St. Rita's Hospice for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 PM Friday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Rev. Terry Brock officiating.
