Obituary

Venedocia;       Dale Edward Kuiesza, 53, of Venedocia passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Lima Memorial Heath Systems.

Dale Kuiesza was born on December 19, 1970 in Sandusky, OH to Dale and Dorothy (Patterson) Kuiesza. He grew up near Sandusky and graduated from Norwalk and EHOVE schools in 1991. While in school he took pride in being the mascot for the wrestling team. Dale started working at Cedar Point in high school and after a number years, went to work at Sandusky Walmart for 20 years and had worked at The Good Will Industries until 2017. On September 19, 2009, he was united in marriage to LuAnn Friesner. They made their home in Castalia, OH before moving to Venedocia, OH in 2017.

Dale was an avid OSU and Nascar fan and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns play. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting but most of all loved spending time with friends, family and traveling. Dale was definitely a "people" person who didn't know a stranger (atleast not for long).

Dale is survived by his wife, LuAnn Kuiesza of Venedocia; parents, Dale and Dorothy Kuiesza of North Monroeville; one sister, Mary (David) Gonzalez of Sandusky; honorary sister, Peggy (Dave) Hartley of Bellevue; nephew, David (Ellen) Gonzalez Jr. and their children of Lorain; mother-in-law, Ellen Friesner of Venedocia; three aunts, Mildred (Jim) George of Pennsylvania, Bette (Doug) Hilb of Texas, and Lucille Patterson of Pennsylvania; one uncle, Norman (Linda) Fowlks of Texas; aunts-in-law, Nell Jean Wienken and Janice Jones both of Venedocia; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William G. "Bill" Friesner; aunts, Birdie Patterson, Minie Patterson, Alice Patterson, Nellie Price, Marilyn Pugh and Joyce Ternyik; uncle Clyde Patterson; grandparents, Virginia Hunter, Neva & Adam Kuiesza, and Clyde & Priscilla Patterson.

There will be a visitation from 11:30-2:30 p.m. followed by his funeral service at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Tom Emery officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Dale and his family. In honor of Dale, preferred memorials may be given to Lima Memorial Home Healthcare or Spencerville EMS.
