Denny Clay Seibert, 64, of Spencerville, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

Denny was born on October 6, 1961 in Lima, to Clayton Lewis and Marilyn Ruth (Finfrock) Seibert. He grew up South of Spencerville and graduated from Spencerville High School in 1980. Denny had a few different jobs in his short life, but his longest and last job was at Setex in St. Marys.

Denny was a lifetime diehard Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and absolutely adored his grandchildren.

Denny is survived by his two children, Jesse L. (Melissa) Seibert of Van Wert and Emily J. (Joshua) Vormelker of North Canton; six grandchildren, Kaine Seibert, Charlotte Seibert, Brexton Seibert, Lincoln Vormelker, Rowan Vormelker, Thomas Vormelker; his mother, Marilyn Seibert of Spencerville; two brothers, Randy (Sally) Seibert and Jerry (Peggy) Seibert both of Monroe, MI; two aunts, Ruby Seibert of Van Wert and Mary Finfrock of Spencerville. He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Jodie Steinke and Dianna Schrolucke.

There will be a visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Visitation will continue from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by his funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the funeral home with pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at New Salem Cemetery, South of Monticello. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Denny and his family.
