LIMA — Diana Lynn Hickey, 63, a resident of the Lima Towers, passed away in the Lima Memorial Health System at 4:05 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017, following a sudden illness.

She was born August 14, 1954 in Lima, a daughter of Clarence and Anna Endicott Hickey. Her mother, Anna Giffin survives in Lima.

Also surviving are her son; Jeffrey Shane (Bri) Hickey of Spencerville; her grandchildren; Madison (Matthew Shmitt) Hickey of Montpelier, OH; Nathaniel Hickey and Jorden Hickey, both of Spencerville and her siblings; Charis (Greg) Foust of Elida; Christine Stansbery of Fostoria and Greg Hickey of Cridersville. Her sister Brenda Steele preceded her in death.

Diana was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and became a certified Nurses Aide and worked several years at Roselawn Manor in Spencerville. Her true love was to spend time with her grandchildren, tending to her plants and crocheting.

A memorial service will be at Noon Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Rev. Jim Fletcher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
