CRIDERSVILLE — Dianna J. Bell, 75, died at 1:03 a.m. Oct. 7, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System, following a short illness.
She was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Lima to Richard C. and Margaret Eva Shinaberry Davisson, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 4, 1955, she married Truman J. Bell, who survives in Cridersville.
Mrs. Bell was a 1955 graduate of Lima South High School. She had been a press operator at Hayes-Albion/Trim Trends Co., Spencerville, for 27 years. She had also worked at J.C. Penney at the Lima Mall. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691 Auxiliary, Wapakoneta. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and casino trips.
Survivors also include three children, Vicki S. Bell, of Wapakoneta, Douglas A. (Debbie) Bell, of Spencerville, and Michael C. (Jessica) Bell, of St. Marys; nine grandchildren, Shay (Angie) Finn, of Cridersville, Tiffany Finn, of Waynesfield, Trever Triplett, of Wapakoneta, Brittany Jones, of Waynesfield, Cody (Chasidy "Chas") Bell, Lindsay Bell and McKayla Bell, all of Spencerville, Krystal (Danny) Shreves, of Wapakoneta, and Ashlee Bell, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard B. (Anna Faye) Davisson, of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Joan Rae (Michael) McGue, of Cridersville, and Cheryl Davisson, of Lima; a stepsister, Beverly Robey, of Lima; and two brothers-in-law, Gene Shaw, of St. Augustine, Fla., and Lynn A. Bell, of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Sue Shaw; and a stepsister, Pat Mayer; her stepmother, Clara Davisson; and her stepfather, Benton Carper.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. Pastor Tom Shobe will officiate. Burial will be in Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where an FOE service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
