Obituary

Spencerville;        Dianna Sue Schrolucke, 70, of Spencerville passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital.

Dianna was born on September 1, 1953 in Lima to Clayton Lewis and Marilyn (Finfrock) Seibert. She grew up in the Spencerville area graduating from Spencerville High School in 1971. On July 21, 1972, she was united in marriage to Jack Schrolucke and together they raised three children. Dianna had few different jobs over the years but the majority of her working life was with the United States Postal Service in Spencerville. Jack passed away on July 11, 2013.

Dianna was a member of the Bowersock Brothers VFW Post #6772 Auxiliary in Spencerville. She loved her crafts and attending all types of different sporting events. The love she had for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was unmatched and whether it was a sport they were playing or just an important event in their life, she never missed the opportunity to attend and support them.

Dianna is survived by her parents, Clayton and Marilyn Seibert; three children, Scott Schrolucke, Trent (Lindsay) Schrolucke, and Keeley (Kevin) Layman all of Spencerville; nine grandchildren, Donovan (Ashlyn) Maier, Jayden (Trevor) Hooker, Jodie (Dale Smith) Schrolucke, Chandler Schrolucke, Gary (Amelia) Schrolucke, TJ (Aubrey Pugin) Schrolucke, Lyric Sargent, Carter Layman, Lorelai Layman; three great grandchildren, Cambrie Maier, Dawson Schrolucke, and Miles Schrolucke; three siblings, Randy (Sally) Seibert, Jerry (Peggy) Seibert, and Denny Seibert; one brother-in-law, Jim Steinke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and sister, Jodie Steinke.

There will be a visitation from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 6, 2024 at Thoams E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Her visitation will continue from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by her funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 also at the funeral home with Reverend Rex Schrolucke officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral at New Salem Cemetery. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Dianna and her family. In honor of Dianna, preferred memorials may be given to the Spencerville Youth Athletic Association.
