SPENCERVILLE— Donald B. Clement, 88, a life-long resident of Spencerville, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully the morning of Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Roselawn Manor.

He was born January 18, 1934, the son of Francis H. and Viola L. (Schramm) Clement.  On April 17,1971, he married Shirley K. (Washburn) Clement, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by three children:  Anissa (Kelly) Essinger of Bluffton; Andrea (Steve) Mangette of Delphos; Matthew Clement of Spencerville; his grandchildren Ethan and Jacob Mangette and Abigail, Jillian and Caroline Essinger; his siblings Richard (Beth) Clement of Venedocia; Gene Clement of Cincinnati; Marilyn (Ron) Meyer of St. Marys; Rosie (Irvin) Moenter of Delphos; and Patricia Warnecke of Spencerville.  He was preceded in death by his parents,  brothers Thomas Clement, Lavern Clement, and Vince Clement, and brother-in-law James Warnecke.

Don was a 1952 graduate of Spencerville High School, served in the Army, and was a member of the Spencerville V.F.W.   He worked at Neon Products, Westinghouse Electric Corporation,  Ohio Decorative Products and J.B. Tool.

He enjoyed watching Ohio State football games and NASCAR.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, March 14 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.     Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
