DONALD SHIVELY
WAPAKONETA — Donald E. Shively, 62, of rural Wapakoneta, died 5:11 p.m., Mon. Dec. 9, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, following a sudden illness.
He was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Lima, the son of Wavel & Anna (Huckemeyer) Shively. His mother survives in Kossuth and his father is deceased.
Other survivors include, his life partner, Carolyn Stolzenburg, a son, Jayson E. Shively, St. Marys, a grandson, Kayden E. Shively, 2 sisters, Maryann (Andy) Andrews, Wapakoneta, & Wilma Dyer, Kossuth, and Carolyn's sons, Rick & Adam Stolzenburg.
A farmer, Donald worked as ASE Master-Tech mechanic at Brinkman's Service, Minster, OH. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #767, St. Marys. He enjoyed farming and playing with his grandson, Kayden.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Sat. Dec. 14, 2013, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Dr. David Williams officiating. Burial is to follow in the Kossuth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Fri. at the funeral home. Memorial contribution s may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice .
