Mendon;  Donni Lee Butler, 52, died at 6:43 PM Sunday, February 13, 2022, shortly after admission to the Joint Twp. District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born April 7, 1969, a son of Shirley Ann Gallimore, who survives in Rockford.

Also surviving are his children; Autumn Douglas of Lima, Ashley (Miles) Steen of Celina, Victoria (Jacob) Puschel of Cleveland, Courtney Butler of Spencerville and Devin (Jon Finn) Butler of Celina;  grandchildren, Braydon, Lyric, Chanson, Christian, Conner, Korbin, Ian, Fredrick, Elise, Bentley, Colton and Ella; his brothers, Sean Luzader of Anderson, IN. and Brian (Susan) Degen of Celina.

Donni was a 1987 graduate of Spencerville High School and had worked in excavating with Kogge Plumbing in St. Mary's.

He loved being with his grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating cakes, woodworking and loved the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2 PM Thursday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Rick Brosher officiating.

The family will greet friends from  11 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
