ELENORA SHUEY
SPENCERVILLE — Elenora M. "Ellie" Shuey, 92, of Spencerville and formerly of Lima, passed away at 11:30 AM Monday, December 26, 2016 in the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Spencerville, where she had resided the past 6 years.
She was born October 5, 1924 in Delphos, a daughter of Lewis R. and Minnie L. Dunifon Robinson, who are deceased. She was preceded in death by her three husbands; Victor B. Seibert, Paul R. McMichael and Paul V. Shuey.
Surviving are 5 children; Larry E. (Sharon) Seibert of Spencerville; Daniel B. Seibert of Dayton; Paul J. (Dorothy) Seibert of Warrenton, VA.; Robert R. (Nancy) McMichael of Spencerville and David R. (Cindy) McMichael of Mendon; 12 grandchildren, 2 deceased; 29 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren; a sister; Norma Kinnan of Toledo and a half-brother; Don Ditto of Lima.
Also deceased is her infant son, Bill McMichael; her brother Ray Robinson and her sister; Malitta Sleeter.
Ellie had worked as a waitress for 33 years at the Holiday Inn near O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, where she was able to meet and serve many dignitaries over the years. She had been a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Lima and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and upholstery.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2/4 and 6/8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
