EVELYN WROCKLAGE
SPENCERVILLE — Evelyn M. Wrocklage, 88, of rural Spencerville, died 4:33 a.m., Sunday April 30, 2017, at her residence. She was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Delphos, OH, the daughter of Henry & Violet (Davis) Pavel, who preceded her in death. On May 15, 1948, she married John Henry Wrocklage, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 30, 1993.
Survivors include, 2 daughters, Renee M. (David) Garza, Delphos, OH, Tracy Ann Holbrook, Spencerville, OH, 6 grandchildren, Rodney A. Wrocklage, Michele A. Wrocklage, Eddie (Lindsay Sturgeon) Keyton, Brandon Salyer, Brittney (Josh) Dailey, Marissa Garza, 13 great grandchildren, Drew, Raihn, Megan, Karen, Brian, Rori, Blaze, Aiden, Tyna, Joshua, Jr., Joey, Emma, Railynn.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, John Henry Wrocklage, Jr. and Rodney Lee Wrocklage, and 3 siblings, Louise Ditto, Pat Tuttle, and Billy Jean Pavel.
Mrs. Wrocklage had worked at the Broadway Inn, Spencerville and for Delphos Mfg. & Meyer's Cleaners, both in Delphos. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church, Delphos. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and later collecting jewelry and accessories, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wed. May 3, 2017, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, Fr. George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, near Monticello, OH. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Tues. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Lymphoma Research Foundation or to Marimor Industries.
