Venedocia; Frances E. Dicus Simindinger, 96, of rural Venedocia, passed away at 6:40 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Roselawn Manor in Spencerville.

She was born December 3, 1921 in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Verdie Price Harper. She married Gerald Dicus, who preceded her in death. On December 3, 1977 she married Ivan "Sam" Simindinger, who died January 23, 2004.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law and caregiver Tressa Dicus of Venedocia and son-in-law; Larry Miller of St. Marys and four grandchildren; Jenny (Greg) Nijak; Stephanie (Roger) Chittum; Natalie Dicus and Kevin (Libby) Dicus and seven great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her daughter; Jean Ann Miller and son; Robert E. Dicus.

She was a graduate of Spencerville High School and was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Spenceville.

Graveside funeral services will be at a later date in the Wright Cemetery, near Converse.

There will be no public visitation.
