FREEDUS DANIELS
SPENCERVILLE — Freedus F. "Bub" Daniels, 69, of Spencerville, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, in his residence following a two month bout with cancer.
He was born May 26, 1946 in Kossuth, a son of Harold R. "Sandy" and Margaret Packer Daniels, who are deceased. On March 14, 1970 he married Betty Lou Shaffer and she survives along with three children; Kevin N. Daniels of Spencerville; Amy M. (Chris M.) Rambacher of Kossuth and Nicole L. (Eric J.) Sprague of Buckland; grandchildren; Adrian, Adam and Zane Daniels; Grant Rambacher; Erica, Jacob, Zachariah and Lucas Sprague and another one on the way; a step-granddaughter, Emily Thielbar, five siblings; Donald Kackelries of Wapakoneta; Edward (Kay) Daniels of Lima; Goldie (Gerald) Wisher of Spencerville;Terry (Carla) Daniels of Wapakoneta and Pat Makar of Kossuth ; his in-laws; Barbara ( Royce) Williams, Bruce (Kay) Shaffer and Bonnie Shaffer, all of Rockford and Beverly (Phil) Thorpe of Franklin, IN.
His sister-in-law Marjorie Kackelries preceded him in death.
He had formerly worked at the Sandkuhl Tile Mill in Kossuth and for 25 years at the Ohio Decorative Products and then 15 years at MacDonald Industries, both of Spencerville. He had attended the Friends Church in Spencerville and truly loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling, yardwork, holiday decorating and TV Sports, especially the Reds and Buckeyes
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Charles H. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kossuth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2/4 and 6/8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
