Spencerville;  Gail Ann Hurles Fleck, 67, of Spencerville, passed away Saturday morning, September 25, 2021 in the Roselawn Manor in Spencerville following an extended illness.

She was born December 24, 1953 in Lima, a daughter of the late Darrel William "Bill" and Sally Lou Schuller Hurles. She was formerly married to David L. Fleck and Jay D. Shadley.

Surviving are her son Daniel A. Fleck and granddaughters Kiya Lynn Fleck and Vivian Rose Fleck, all of Spencerville, her step-son Timothy Shadley of Lima and her sister Nancy Leeth of Washington Court House and three brothers; Darrel W. "Bill" (Karen) Hurles, Jr. of Dayton, NV., Michael (Debbie) Hurles and Lee (Kim) Hurles, both of Spencerville.

Gail was a 1972 graduate of Spencerville High School and had worked as a Journeyman brick mason at the Peterson Construction Company and also the M. & B. Construction Company and later worked in Hospice care at peoples homes.  She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

Funeral services will be 6 PM Wednesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Spencerville Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 PM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Roselawn Manor Activities Fund.
