Spencerville;       Gregory N. Roberts, 57, of Spencerville, passed away on November 28, 2023 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima.

Greg was born on July 5, 1966 in Lima, OH to the late Richard Joseph and JoAnn (Lindeman) Roberts. He grew up around Spencerville attending Spencerville City Schools. Shortly after high school, Greg took employment with Waste Management in Lima where he worked for over 25 years.

Greg was a bit of a home body, and enjoyed playing pool and online poker. Although some might consider him a bit of a loner, he was very genuine person and at the drop of a hat, would help anyone in need. He loved his family and giving his siblings a hard time but being the youngest of eight kids, the siblings would always remind him of being mom's sugar plum.

Greg is survived by his five siblings, Debbie (Bob) Kratzenberg of Plain City, Cheryl Stewert of Lima, Terri (Terry) England of Spencerville, Steven (Lois) Roberts of Peru, NY, Judy (Dave) Hight of Celina; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Ed Roberts and Tom Roberts.

There will be a visitation from 11:00-1:00 p.m. followed by his memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will take place following the service at New Salem Cemetery near Monticello. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Greg and his family.

Although Greg's life ended earlier than we would have liked, he was excepted as an organ donor and hope that his donation is able to save someone else.
