SPENCERVILLE
Helen P. "Sis" Kill, 73, died at 4:13 a.m. Oct. 3, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 25, 1939, in Lima to Earl O. and Frances W. Huber Gaskill, who preceded her in death. On April 29, 1967, she married Frank A. Kill, who died Sept. 8, 2002.
Mrs. Kill was a homemaker. She was a 1958 graduate of Spencerville High School. She was a longtime member of Hartford Christian Church and its ladies Friendly Circle and prayer team. She was a prayer warrior. She loved caring for her grandchildren, quilting and baking.
Survivors include two children, Tammy R. Crider and Terry J. (Julia) Kill, both of Spencerville; five grandchildren, Aaron Crider, Dane Gelivera, Amanda Crider, Isaac Kill and Alexander Kill, all of Spencerville; five brothers, Ronald (Becky) Gaskill, of Kossuth, Richard (Lila) Gaskill, of Chicago, Tom Gaskill, of Spencerville, Dee (Pat) Gaskill, of Kingsland, Ga., and Frank Gaskill, of Lima; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Gaskill, of Lima.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny (Helena) Gaskill, Homer "Bill" (Edna) Gaskill, Earl "Fritz" (Mary Ellen) Gaskill Jr. and Lewis "Art" Gaskill; an infant sister, Carolyn Gaskill; and two sisters-in-law, Ginny Gaskill and Mae Gaskill.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Hartford Christian Church. Pastor Robert King will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Hartford Christian Church.
