Spencerville;   Jacquline June "Jackie" Howell,  88,  of Spencerville, passed away at 1 PM Sunday, May 22, 2022 in the Roselawn Manor in Spencerville, with her family at her side.

She was born October 9, 1933 in McComb, Ohio, a daughter of the late Donald and Dorthea Young Kinsey.  Her step-father, Ernest Leist is also deceased.  On July 28, 1950, she married Donald E. Howell, who passed away August 17, 2010.

Jackie is survived her daughter Vickie Howell of Spencerville and daughter-in-law,  Pam (Joe) Howell of Landeck; grandchildren, Jessica (Pete) Howell of Detroit and Charlie (Dawn) Howell of Huber Heights and great granddaughter Rosie Howell of Celina,  her siblings,  Donna  (Bill (d)) Dunahey of Arizona and Kay (Gary) Coby of Shawnee and special friends, Charlie and Alison Bearing and Blake Morgan, all of Delphos.

Preceding her in death are her sons; Rev. David Howell and Rich Howell and brother Keith Young.

Jackie had worked several years as the bookkeeper at the former Koenig Chevrolet in Spencerville, then the BBB in Lima and later the Rardin Supply in Spencerville. She had been very active with the Spencerville Girl Scouts and also the Northwest Ohio Field and Stream Assn.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
