JAMES SKORUPSKI
SPENCERVILLE — James J. "Bucket" Skorupski, 56, of Spencerville, died at 12:47 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his residence following a ten month illness, with his family at his side.
Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He always brought a smile to the room and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Jim was born April 3, 1959 in Lima, a son of John and Mary Jo Basinger Skorupski, who are deceased. He was a 1977 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. He loved working in the electrical engineering department at MLS Systems in Findlay.
He was passionate about life, family, friends, Harley Davidson, and the Cleveland Browns. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Inga, whom he married on June 24, 1989; sons Craig (Rebecca) Cook, David (Nichol) Cook, J.J Skorupski; daughters; Chari (Brock) Douglas ; Michelle (Scott) Cramer, grandchildren; Devon Cook, Taylor Cook, Dylan Cook, Kayla Cook, Eryn Cook, Sydney Cramer, Raegan Cramer, Taylor Skorupski, and Sophie Croft; brothers; Larry Skorupski, John "Andy" (Gina) Skorupski and Jerry (Sue) Skorupski and nieces and nephews; Michael Wampler, Matthew "Maynard", Madison, Michael, Nick and Trynity Skorupski.
The entire family would like to personally thank Martie Bishop for her compassionate and loving care that she provided him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Dan Holbrook officiating, with burial to follow in the Preston Cemetery near Alger. Say a prayer for Jim and his family during this difficult time.
