Jason
Neuman
May 9, 1964 – January 26, 2024
Elida; With sorrowful yet, rejoicing hearts, we mourn the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and dear friend to many. Jason Eric Neuman entered the glorious presence of his Heavenly Father on January 26, 2024, at 11:32am, leaving behind his beloved spouse, Marla (Hutchison) Neuman; their children, Landon (Ruthie), Evan (Kara), Madeline, and Jaden; Sweet granddaughter, Cosette; dear mother, Wanda (Harrison) Neuman; and sibling, Jon "Aaron" (Jeanie) Neuman. He was proceeded in death by his father, Jon "Jack" Neuman who he worked alongside throughout his life.
Jason graduated from Shawnee High School in 1982 then, after earning a business degree from Ohio State University, joined his dad and cousins in sales at Ohio Decorative Products in Spencerville, OH. He enjoyed traveling to customers across the country, making new connections, and finding the best food establishments in each city.
He and his dad started many ventures of their own; the most current, Midwest Metal Fabricators, Performance Car Washes, and a spattering of real estate properties. Like a true entrepreneur, he was always thinking of new ideas, networking, and looking for opportunities to help others succeed. He was a compassionate and trustworthy leader, a generous giver of his time and resources, and a faithful provider for his family.
One of Jason's greatest joys was being actively involved in the interests of his children and granddaughter; tennis, dance, music, and theatre became his hobbies. His dedication to each of their lives brought many lasting friendships with others through his outgoing demeaner and infectious laugh. In turn, he cultivated in his family a passion for his annual family vacations to Treasure Island in Onterio, Canada, OSU football, and, for at least one of his children, his love of flying planes.
Jason modeled the importance of being a part of a local body of believers. He was a devoted member of Grace Community Church since its conception where he valued lifelong relationships with his church family and sought to develop new ones along the way, almost always being the last to leave any gathering.
Please join us as we fondly remember Jason's life on earth and joyfully celebrate his eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 2nd at Grace Community Church (4359 Allentown Rd. Lima, OH 45807) from 1-4 and 5-8pm. A memorial service will be on Saturday, February 3rd at Grace Community Church at 11am with a graveside service and dinner to follow. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Jason and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can kindly be made to the Life Wise Academy locations in Elida and Spencerville. https://www.actscharacteracademy.com
