SPENCERVILLE, OH. Our beautiful beloved EURETTA JEAN YULE "Jeannie" peacefully passed on January 8, 2022, at Lima Memorial Hospital with her family at her side. Jeannie was born on April 4, 1949, at home in Lima, Ohio to the late John Edward Hardesty, Jr. and Wanda Mae Stockwell-Chapman.
On September 27, 1986, she married Gerald A. Yule, Jr. who survives in Spencerville. Jeannie is survived by her children, Cindi Croft and Douglas J. Croft, II, of Spencerville. Angela Croft of Lima, and Christina (Rafael) Croft DeLeon, of Waynesfield. Step-children Bonnie (Gary) Howard of Martinsferry, Gerald A. Yule, III and Danny Yule. Her 12 grandchildren; Kayla Hagerman, Kameron (Jackie) Hagerman, Kandice (Emily) Hagerman, Kelsey (Brandon) Croft, Kalandra (Shay) West, Sarena (Austin) Hardia, Mariah Hardia, Johnathan (Shelby) Croft, Jordan Gunnell, Rafael DeLeon, IV, Javier DeLeon and Zaria DeLeon. Step-grandchildren Adrianne (Alan) Dvorak, Brittany Howard, Colton Howard, Auburn Yule, Kylee Yule, and Tyler Yule. 14 great grandchildren; Jakyiah, Lanyiah and Ashyiah Allen, Zacarious Manley, Kaleigha Burns, Maliyiah Towsey, Alexander Hagerman, Matthew Plaugher, Haden Croft, Violet Hagerman, Elijah Moore, Willow and Harrison Croft and Jace Gunnell. 4 Step-great grandchildren; Charlie, Rose Kinzlee Howard, Layla Dvorak and Wyatt Dvorak. As well as her best friend of 58 years, Betty (Coburn) Croft.
Three brothers, Rusell (Sharon) Hardesty, Edwin (Connie) Hardesty, Jack (Sandy) Hardesty, Four sisters, Sylvia Joseph, Linda (Sonny) Livingston, Nina Hardesty and Leesa Franks, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and a sister, Janet Hardesty-Woodell.
Jeannie attended Spencerville Schools. She was the owner and operator of My Place Restaurant in Spencerville for 15 years. A member of the Fort Amanda Encampment No. 302. A member of the IOOF Deepcut Lodge 311. Jeannie was a beautful, caring and giving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and cherished each and every one of her family members and was always so eager to celebrate her favorite holiday, Christmas, so she could spend time with her loved ones.
Visitation will be held at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, Ohio on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm.
Any memorial contributions can be made to the Spencerville EMS.
