Jennifer Lynn
Frederickson
July 21, 1978 – May 20, 2026
Jennifer Lynn Frederickson, born Jennifer Lynn Klausing on July 21, 1978, in Lima, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in her hometown, surrounded by the love and warmth of those who cherished her deeply. Jennifer was a gentle soul with a caring nature, a true homebody who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading and listening to music.
Jennifer’s journey began in Lima, where she was raised by her devoted parents, Mary Lou and Michael. She graduated from Elida High School in 1996, a milestone that marked the beginning of her pursuit of knowledge at Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio. Professionally, Jennifer worked at Capt from 2011 to 2016, in Celina, before moving on to KMI in Kalida.
Family was the cornerstone of Jennifer’s life, and she wore her heart proudly on her sleeve when it came to her greatest achievements—her grandchildren. She found immeasurable joy in nurturing and watching them grow, always encouraging and supporting them with a boundless well of love. Her beloved grandchildren—Ollie, Oaklen, Willow, Sylvie, Meredith, Kendrix, and Leianna—were a source of pride and happiness that shone brightly in her life.
Jennifer’s family circle was vast and vibrant. She is survived by her loving boyfriend Joe, her devoted children Jordan and Samantha, and her adopted son and nephew, Seth. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt to many: her mother Mary Lou, father Michael, older brother Dennis, brothers Michael and Lenny, sisters Tammy, Beth, Heather, and Carrie, along with countless nieces and nephews who will carry forward the warmth of her memory. The loss of her husband Richard, who preceded her in death, left a void that her enduring love and memories beautifully fill.
Her passing leaves a profound silence, but the legacy of Jennifer’s gentle spirit, her unwavering caring nature, and the deep bonds she nurtured with those around her will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she preferred the quiet comfort of home, Jennifer’s impact stretched far beyond those walls.
There will be no services held at this time. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Jennifer and her family.
