Lima;  Jimmy R. Doyle, 84, of Lima, passed away peacefully at 2 PM Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in the Vancrest of St. Marys Care Center.

He was born November 13, 1936 in Lima, a son of the late Raymond E. and Dorothy  Keeling Doyle. On June 29, 1958 he married Dorothy L. Hindenlang, who survives, along with two daughters, Cindy R. (Greg) Osborn of Lima and Tracy L. (Chris) Beerbower of Ocala, FL., six grandchildren; Charlotte (Josh) Howbert, Jimmy (Jessica) Doyle and Kayla (Jason Hensley) Osborn, all of Lima, Briton Beerbower of Indiana, Deiter (Sarah) Beerbower of S.C. and Cody (Samantha) Kilgore of St. Marys. 10 great grandchildren, his brother Tom L. (Cheryl) Doyle of Lima and his sister-in-law Marlene (David) Gilman of Florida.

Preceding him in death are his son Steven L. Doyle and his brother Robert Doyle.

Jimmy was a 1958 graduate of Shawnee High School and worked as an  AEO operator at the Lima Ford Engine Plant, retiring after 37 years  service to Ford.

He was a member of the Elm Street Church of the Brethren. He loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, woodworking, traveling and his Honda Motorcycle.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Friday and after noon Saturday at the funeral home.
