Joyce E. Fisher, 74, of St. Marys, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at her home in St. Marys.

She was born on June 19, 1951, in Lima, the daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Ada Hyacinth (Tewell) Fisher, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Chris Fisher of St. Paris and Martha Fisher of Wapakoneta; four nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Nelson, Nolan, and Norman Fisher; two sisters, Alexa Kay Tippie and Phyllis F. Goodson; one brother-in-law, Ed Goodson; one sister-in-law, Dianna Fisher; and a niece, Alexa K. Tippie.

Joyce graduated from Spencerville High School in 1969. She graduated from Miami-Jacobs Junior College of Business, Dayton, OH in 1971. She worked 18 ½ years at St. Rita's Medical Center and other companies until health problems made it impossible.

She did much volunteer work at Monticello United Brethren in Christ Church which included church secretary for 15 years, president, vice-president, and secretary of the local WMF. She was also president and secretary of the Auglaize Regional WMF, church librarian, Sunday school superintendent, teacher and helper, and coach of the bible quiz team. Joyce was also the director, assistant director, teacher, song leader, and helper of Vacation Bible School. She was also the board of administration secretary at Hillsdale United Brethren in Christ Church and currently a member of the First Church of God in St. Marys.

Joyce had a beautiful singing voice that she used to bring praise and honor to Jesus' name at church in the choir and special music. She was a voracious reader.

There will be a graveside service held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Kossuth Cemetery south of Kossuth with Reverend Joe Shouse officiating. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Joyce and her family.
