Kaleb Aryn Jones, 21, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in his home.

Kaleb was born on January 29, 2004 to Kristy Nicole (Goedde) Shields and Justin Wayne Jones. He grew up in Spencerville graduating from Spencerville High School in 2022 before moving to Lima. Kaleb enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family.

Kaleb is survived by his mother, Kristy (John) Shields of Spencerville; his father, Justin Jones of Bryan; siblings, Kaitlynn (Patrick Smith) Jones of Delphos, Kylianne Jones of Spencerville, Silas Shields of Spencerville and Charlie Dix of Bryan; his nephew, Declan Smith of Delphos; maternal grandparents, Kathy Goedde of Lima and Stephen Goedde of St. Petersberg, FL; paternal grandmother, Tammy Jones in Lima; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Camden Smith.

There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Kaleb and his family.
