Kerry Nicole
Grigsby
January 11, 2026
Kerry Nicole Grigsby, 48, of rural Spencerville, passed away peacefully at 6:37 a.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, surrounded by the love she spent her life giving so freely to others. Kerry leaves behind her husband Tim, children Jacey (Noah) Illig, Kaiden (Ben) Dickrede, Gunner (Kirsten Wurst), Twins Kolten and Gage. Her sister Jody (Marshall) Marraccini and two nephews (Mason & Mack). Her loving parents, Pam and John Dignan and granddaughter River.
Kerry was the definition of devotion. She loved her people with a depth that was unwavering, protective, and unconditional. Family was not just important to her—it was everything. She stood firmly in the corner of those she loved, offering loyalty, strength, and compassion without hesitation. Her heart was wide enough to hold everyone close, and she made sure those in her life knew they were never alone.
She was a proud and devoted mother to her five children—Jacey, Kaiden, Gunner, Gage, and Kolten—each of whom carried a unique and irreplaceable place in her heart. Being their mom was her greatest joy and most meaningful role, and she poured herself into loving, supporting, and protecting them at all costs.
Kerry was also a devoted grandmother to her beloved grandchild, River, who brought her immeasurable happiness and light. She cherished every moment spent with River and took great pride in watching her family grow.
She shared her life with her husband, Tim, whose heart and life were deeply intertwined with hers. Together they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and unwavering commitment. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void in his life and in the lives of all who knew her.
Kerry's legacy is one of fierce love, loyalty, and selflessness. She will be remembered for her strength, her protective nature, and her ability to love without limits. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made will live on through the people she loved so deeply.
She will be missed beyond words and loved forever. God Speed Bear 🐻
