Lana K (Miller) Moorman, age 73 of Spencerville, Ohio passed away peacefully August 15,2022 with her husband Karl "Butch" Moorman by her side.

Lana was born in Lima, Ohio to the late Paul E. Miller and Ethel (Fronk) Miller on October 29,1948.

Lana was a member of the graduating class of 1967 at Spencerville High School.

On November 7,1964, she married Karl E. "Butch" Moorman who was a very devoted and caring husband who became her main caretaker the past few years. They would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in November.

Lana was a dedicated worker having worked for Mari-Stan Mfg. and McDonald's Industries in Spencerville, and Aeroquip-Eaton Corp in Van Wert from where she happily retired on her birthday in 2010.  She was a proud long- time member of the Spencerville VFW Post 6772 Auxiliary and Spencerville Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191 Auxiliary. She was very active for many years with both Posts through volunteering at many functions and donating food for events.

Lana was well known throughout the community and made many friends throughout her lifetime through her work and organizations but mostly from working with her husband managing the Canal Stop Carry-Out in Spencerville for several years and later after retirement still working alongside her husband with their own business KLM Lawn Services. She will be missed by many but mostly by her loving and caring family. She loved people, socializing, watching her grandsons grow up and play sports, computer games, cooking, watching game shows and doing things for others. She was such a selfless, giving individual and anyone who knew her was lucky to have crossed her path.

Survivors include her husband Karl "Butch" Moorman, two daughters, Pam Moorman-Campbell (Dave Hittle) of St. Marys, Julie Moorman (Jennifer Kahl) of Columbus. Two grandsons, Chance Campbell of Shawnee, and Parker Campbell of Coldwater, OH. She was also very fond of her "bonus grand" Regan Hittle of St. Marys, OH. A sister-in-law Shari Moorman of Spencerville, niece Lauri (Jay) Brown of Landeck and nephew Jeff Stevens of Lima along with numerous cousins of whom she was very close to but especially her Aunt Jean (Book) Hassel of Hendersonville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Paul E. Miller and Ethel (Fronk) Miller-Coulson, father -in-law Clyde "Ed" Moorman and mother-in-law Irene (Truesdale) Moorman, paternal grandparents Peter and Grace (Elsea)Miller and maternal grandparents Frank and Minnie (Stirn) Fronk.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday August 21 and 2-8 p.m. Monday August 22,2022 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, Ohio.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 23, 2022, at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home conducted by long time family friend Pastor Neal Whitney. Burial will be at Hartford Cemetery in Spencerville.
