Lawrence "Larry"
Lee Skorupski
May 25, 1960 – January 13, 2024
Spencerville; Lawrence "Larry" Lee Skorupski, 63, of Columbus, formerly of Spencerville passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Lawrence was born on May 25, 1960 in Lorain, OH to the late John Joseph and Mary Jo (Basinger) Skorupski. He grew up around the Lima area and was a 1978 graduate of Bath High School. He went on to becoming a certified electrician and acquiring an Associates Degree. He was very career driven and opened his own business, Spencerville Electric.
Larry had always had a special place in his heart for dogs, and later found a fond love for horses and the joy and freedom he'd get from horseback riding. His family was very important to him and his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart. The one thing Larry loved most in life was his daughter Trynity. She meant the world to him and couldn't have been more proud to be her father.
Lawrence is survived by his daughter Trynity Skorupski of Columbus; one brother, John Andrew (Gina) Skorupski of Anna; two sisters-in-law, Inga Skorupski of Spencerville and Susan Skorupski of Grove City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, James Joseph "Bucket" Skorupski and Jerome Leonard Skorupski.
There will be a private family service held at a later date. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Lawrence and his family.
