Lucille (Lucy) F. Leffel of Spencerville, age 91, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Roselawn Manor.

Lucy was born at her family's farm in Champagne County, Ohio, on May 22, 1930 to Wilbur Bodkin and Florence Mae (Rooker) Neer.  She graduated from Christiansburg-Jackson High School, also in Champagne County.

Lucy raised her three children in Spencerville and worked as a machine operator at Hayes Albion, (later known as Trim Trends), from which she also retired.

Lucy married Robert "Bob" Leffel on June 22, 1979.  She was his loving wife for 34 years before he preceded her in death.

Lucy fed songbirds and hummingbirds, gardened, and enjoyed her pets, especially her cats.  Lucy was active in her church community and loved to line dance at the Senior Citizens Center.

Lucy loved her family with all her heart.  She hosted her children and their families on holidays and paid them regular visits.  She was close to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Leffel; sister Ruth (James) Bobo and infant sister Carol Elizabeth; daughter Teresa (Henderson) Dillhoff; and son-in-law Robert L. Dillhoff.

Lucy is survived by:  her twin sister Lucie (Dick) Furrow; her children, Roger (Jackie) Henderson and Gayla Metzger; step-children, Rex (Colleen) Leffel and Ron (Kathy) Leffel; grandchildren, Joe (Michelle) Metzger, Matthew Dillhoff, Mark (Jess) Henderson, Jill (Arian) Antonucci, Rachel (Jerrod) Smith, and Megan (Theo) Wold; step-grandchildren, Amber (Adam) Cozad, Ben (Brooke) Leffel, Emily Leffel, and Chad (Clarissa) Leffel; and her great-grandchildren: Chase and Lenna Smith; Charlotte Dillhoff; Luke Henderson; Mia Antonucci; Gwen, Ruger, and Vivi Lynn Cozad; Peregrina, Annunziata, and Magdalena Wold; and Cash, Carter, Cain and Charlotte Leffel.
