MABEL KRENDL
SPENCERVILLE — Mabel Coburn Krendl age 91 residing at the Van Wert Manor died January, 1, 2015. She was a long time resident of Spencerville, Ohio. Mrs. Krendl was born on November 22, 1923 at Vest, Kentucky, the daughter of Dial and Dosie Messer Patrick.
On November 7, 1942 she married James E. Coburn, who died April 16, 1961. She later married Karl A. Krendl on October 12, 1972, who died July 8, 1980. Mr. Krendl and first wife Mary (deceased) reared six children, all of whom were adults at the time of Mr. Krendl's marriage to Mable Coburn.
Mrs. Krendl retired from the Ohio Decorative Products of Spencerville, Oh, November 1977. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Spencerville, its Gleaners Class, United Methodist Women and the Joy Circle. She was also a member of Ida Rebekah Lodge #391, Past Nobel Grand Circle, Spencerville Grange # 2424 and Dorcas Circle.
She is survived by one son James P. (Bonnie) Coburn and two daughters, Patricia A. Coburn and Betty Jane Pollock all of Van Wert, OH, six grandchildren and five great-grand children. She leaves one sister Mildred (Alfred) Fields of Springboro, OH and a brother Paul Patrick of Fairborn, OH; she was preceded in death by two sisters; Eva Connor of Spencerville, OH and Mavis Moore of Hindman, KY.
Visitation is at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville on Sunday January 4, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday January 5 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; burial is at Maple Wood Cemetery (four miles east of Spencerville on SR 117) with the Rev. Justin M. Fuhrmann of Trinity United Methodist officiating.
