Spencerville;    Margaret Rose Lenhart-Fischer, 75, of rural Spencerville and formerly of Delphos, passed away peacefully at 3:18 AM Wednesday , December 1, 2021 in the Meadows of Delphos, with her daughters at her side.

She was born October 22, 1946 in Lima, a daughter of the late Albert and Rosemary Lenhart.

Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer (Trent) Gause of Delphos and Angela Strayer of Spencerville; grandchildren Breanna (Dylan) Stump,  Dylan Overholt, Braxton Strayer, Madyson Gause and Cameron Courtad; great grandchildren Brooklyn Stump and Stella Stump , her siblings, Frank (Helen) Lenhart, Betty Bland and Karen (Ken) Shafer and sister-in-law Marilyn Lenhart.

Margaret was preceded in death by her sibling;  Gene Lenhart, Paul Lenhart, Martha Ann Lenhart and Mary Ann Lenhart and brother-in-law Larry Bland.

She was a 1965 graduate of Spencerville High School and worked as a press operator at Huffys and Eaton Companies.  She loved to dance, talk on the phone, shopping, playing cards and traveling, and above all, going to Jims Restaurant to eat and visit.

Funeral services will be 2;30 PM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Father Dennis Walsh officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Friday and after 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
