Continental;  Mark S. Seibert, 57, of Continental, passed away peacefully at 3:53 PM Monday March 8, 2021 in the Lima Memorial Health System, following a short illness.

He was born March 28, 1963 in Lima, son of the late Clarence and Eva Mae Halter Seibert. On August 14, 1979 he married Mary L. Oard, who survives in Continental.

Also surviving are his children, Corrie (Joseph) Collins,  Mark Seibert, Frank (Beth) Seibert, Laura Seibert, Amy Seibert, Bill Seibert, Jeremy (Amy) Seibert and Maria Seibert; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; his siblings, Melvin Seibert, Cheryl Pratt, Michael Seibert, Ruth Couch, Eva Seibert and Dawn Morrow.

He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Mindez.

Mark worked in mechanical  and manufacturing work and enjoyed hunting, fishing and knife collecting.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Chris Backer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Goodwin Cemetery, Northeast of Elgin in Van Wert County.

With Covid-19 cautions of wearing face coverings, the family will receive friends from 5:30 until 8:30 PM Friday and after 9 AM Saturday  in the funeral home , 728 East Fourth Street (St. Rt. 117) in Spencerville.
