Spencerville;  Maxine L. Stewart, 91, of Spencerville and formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away at 4:30 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in the Roselawn Manor, where she had resided 7 years.

She was born May 16, 1931 in Spencerville, a daughter of the late LaVerne "Bud" and Vera Brubaker Cisco. She had been married to Ralph E. Stewart, who died December 8, 2001. They had been married 32 years.

Maxine is survived by her children, Robert Stewart of Pleasant Hill, Ohio and Kim (Jeff) Coil of Venedocia, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her siblings, Shirley Porter of Lima, Carolyn Thompson of Elida and Don (Sharon) Cisco of Lima.  Preceding her in death are her children, Gary Stewart, Melanie (Ben) Huddleston and William "Bill" Stewart, a grandchild, her brother Max Cisco , daughter-in-law Peggy Stewart and brothers in-law,  Jim Porter and John Thompson.

A homemaker, Maxine loved to be with her family and was a "Social Butterfly".  She was a 1949 graduate of Elida High School.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Thomas Emery officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Thursday and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Roselawn Manor Activity Fund or to Legacy Hospice.
