Spencerville; Michael Todd Hurles, 62, of rural Spencerville, passed away at 8:57 PM Monday in the
Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, following a sudden illness.

He was born October 13, 1959 in Lima, a son of the late Darrel William "Bill" and Sally Lou Schuller
Hurles. On October 15, 1994, he married Debra C. Wein Rex, who survives, along with six children,
Brandon Hurles of Spencerville, Daniel (Sarah) Rex of Columbus, Jonathan (Lindsay) Rex of Jacksonville,
FL., Nathan (Julia) Rex of Canton, Rachael Rex of Spencerville and Matthew (Danielle Krusemark) Hurles
of Sidney; seven grandchildren, Emma Michelle Hurles, Rose Hurles, David Hurles, Jordan Rex, Kingston
Hurles, Serenity Hurles and Greyson Clabough, two brothers, Darrel W. "Bill" (Karen) Hurles of Dayton,
NV. and Lee (Kim) Hurles of Spencerville and a sister; Nancy Leigh of Washington Court House, Ohio.

Preceding him in death is his sister Gail Ann Fleck.

Mike was a 1979 graduate of Spencerville High School and Apollo Joint Vocational School. After
acquiring his CDL, Mike was employed as an equipment operator and truck driver for the R. D. Jones
Excavating Company of Harrod. He enjoyed being with his family and friends around a campfire, fishing
and gardening.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with
Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time Saturday in the funeral home.
