Spencerville;   Paul R. Eutsler, 85, of Wapakoneta and formerly of Spencerville, passed away 2:47 PM  Monday, January 31, 2022 in the Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, with his family at his side.

He was born April 23, 1936 in Van Wert County, a son of the late William E. and Easter B. Hickle  Eutsler. He was married to Joyce E. McCain, who lives in Moncks Corner, S.C.  Later married Joyce J. Whitehurst who is deceased, then married Meralene F. Turner who lives in Lima.

Paul is survived by his children;    Darlene M. Eutsler of Moncks Corner, S.C., Mark D. (Barbara) Eutsler of North Charleston, S.C. and Darren P. (Missy) Eutsler of Wapakoneta; step children, Gloria Freed, Rhonda Freed, R.J. (Karen) Freed, David (Char) Fuerst and Tana (George (d)) Matte, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and one sister Mildred Smith.

Preceding him in death is one grandchild and his siblings,  John, Lucille Gander, Merle, Lulabelle Gasser, James, Wanda Putman, William, Arthur, Carl and Lowell Eutsler.

Paul was a 1954 graduate of Spencerville High School and retired as an assembler at the Lima Engine Plant of Ford Motor Company with 26 and a half years service.

He enjoyed helping people, fishing and Fox News.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Terry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery near Converse in Van Wert County.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Thursday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
