RALPH RICHARDSON

VENEDOCIA — Ralph E. Richardson, 79, of Venedocia, died Sat. afternoon, Sept. 20, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Allen Co., the son of Melvin & Bernice (Logan) Richardson, who preceded him in death. On Aug. 18, 1970, he married Judi Mueller, and she survives.

Other survivors include, Children, Kenny Richardson, Phillip (Tami) Richardson, Wapakoneta, Traci (Terry) Bicknell, Cridersville, Joe (Sherry) Mueller, Mendon, Jamie Richardson & Blake Osting, Spencerville, Grandchildren, Corey & Jeff Richardson, Jody, Joey, & Phillip, Jr. Richardson, Cary, Tyler (Erica) Bicknell, Justin Bicknell & Nicole Runyan, Allison Mueller, Tony Osting & Cortney Perkins, & Tiffany Osting, great grandchildren, Jayce Bicknell, Owen Bicknell, and Camden Osting, a sister, Mary (Carl) Best, Rimersburg, PA.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Richardson, and a sister & brother-in-law, Betty & Don Hurley.

Ralph worked at the Ohio Decorative Products, Spencerville, and Sheller Globe, Lima. He also worked as a custodian at the Spencerville Schools, and retired from the City of St. Marys Power Plant. Always staying busy, Ralph mowed grass for Jennings Twp., and helped on Mike Hiett's farm. His hobbies included working, gardening, playing pool, and pitching horseshoes. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m., Tues. Sept. 23, 2014, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, Pastor Tom Shobe officiating. Burial will be later in the Wright Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 3-7 p.m., Tues. at the funeral home.
