Columbus:  Randall R. "Randy" Briggs, 64, of Columbus and formerly of Spencerville, Ohio, passed away at his home April 2, 2021 in Columbus.

Randy was born December 12, 1956 in Lima, Ohio, a son of the late Russell and Elva Spyker Briggs.

Randy is survived by two brothers, David T. "Silk" (Christine) Briggs and Ora D. "Spike" Briggs, several nephews and his Special friend Sharon Brown and several golfing buddies.

He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Sonia Mazur and Judy (Gregory) Hughes and his brother Terry Briggs.

A 1975 graduate of Spencerville High School, Randy served four years in the U.S. Army. He then retired after 34 years with Ohio Dept. of Jobs and Family Service in management.

Randy was a golfer, enjoyed shooting a game of pool and was an avid OSU Fan.

As per his wishes, there will be a private burial service for the family in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Fryburg, Ohio on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1 PM. Masks will be required.

The Army Honor Guard and Spencerville Veterans will conduct military rites following the services.
