Wapakoneta; Richard F. "Dick" Lee, 72. of Wapakoneta and formerly of Spencerville, passed away at his residence Wednesday morning, January 2, 2019, following an extended illness.

He was born July 7, 1946 in Lima , a son of the late Clarence Baccle "C.B." and Mary Martha McKinley Lee. On August 21, 1965 he married Judith Anne "Judy" Lucas, who died July 10, 2009.

Surviving are his daughter; Heidi Anne Davis of Shawnee and son; Richard A. "Rick" (Jeanne) Lee of Elida; five grandchildren; Shane Allen Davis of Dublin, OH.; Kendall Gracen Lee, Kelsey Anne Lee, Kaydence Alexis Lee and Kolten Reese Scott, all of Elida; his sister; Sally (Randy) Seibert of Monroe, MI.; and his sisters-in-law; Lois Lee of Lima and Pat Lee of Spencerville.

He was preceded in death by his brothers; Junior Lee and Pastor Ron Lee and sister; Mary Ann Lee.

Dick was a 1964 graduate of Spencerville High School and served in the Army as a communications officer in Germany from 1968 thru 1970. He went on to work at the Dana Corporation in Lima, retiring with 30 years service. His true love in life was to be with his family and his grandchildrens activities.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Monday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Phil Lee officiating. Military rites will follow the services at the funeral home by the Army Honor Guard and the Spencerville Veterans.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
