SPENCERVILLE -- Robert W. "Bob" Walker, 73, of Spencerville, died 10:15 p.m., Thurs. March 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 23, 1949, in Lima, the son of James E. & Beatrice (Hotz) Walker, who preceded him in death. On April 20, 1984, he married Elaine A. Goetz, and she survives.

Other survivors include, 2 sons, Justin (Steffanie) Walker, Wapakoneta, Joel (Kristi) Walker, Spencerville, 2 step-children, Jeff Boedecker, Spencerville, Jodi Kline, Spencerville, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one on the way, sister, Patricia Rode (John) Etzler, Middle Point, OH, brother-in-law, Danny (Sue) Goetz, sister-in-law, Jeannine Prine, several nieces & nephews.

Bob was an auto body repairman with the Spencerville Body Shop, and later retired from Accubilt of Lima. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Viet Nam. He was a life member of the Bowersock Bros. V.F.W., Post #6772, Spencerville, and a 1967 graduate of Spencerville High School. Bob enjoyed putting together model cars, fishing, reading westerns, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In keeping with Bob's wishes, there are to be no public services. Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Spencerville E.M.S. or to the family in care of Elaine Walker.RO
