RONALD HAGER
WAPAKONETA — Ronald L. Hager, 50, of rural Wapakoneta, died Thursday late aftemoon at his residence on St. Rt. 197 when a small truck he was working on fell on him. The Auglaize County coroner and Sheriffs Dept. are investigating the accident.
He was born December 16, 1965 in St. Marys, the son of Don L. and Ann E. Burris Hager. His mother survives in Buckland. On September 18, 2004 he married Twila J. Ewing, who survives along with his step-daughter; Maurissa Ann Cummins.
Also surviving are his sister; Mary Ann (Gregory) Jones of Buckland; his mother-in-law; Marianne Blythe Ewing of Spencerville and sisters-in-law; Triena (Terry) Kahle of Kalida and Tarianne Ewing of Spencerville.
Preceding him in death in addition to his father are his father-in-law; Paul A. and a sister-in-law; Tamantha "Tammy" Marshall.
Ron was a 1984 graduate of Wapakoneta I ligh School and worked the past 11 years as a truck driver for Miller'sTextiles of Wapakoneta.
He was a member of the Only Believe Ministries of Botkins and a 31 year member of the Buckland Volunteer Fire Dept. He loved traveling and taking cruises with his wife, mechanical work and fixing things.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Only Believe Ministries in Botkins with Pastor Peter Doseck officiating. Burial will be at a later datc in thc Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 until 8 PM Monday, July 4th, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville and after 10 AM Tuesday at the church.
