Spencerville;  Ruthann Reynolds, 79, formerly of Spencerville, passed away at 9:54 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the Vancrest of Delphos, where she had resided the past three years.

She was born July 16, 1941 in Spencerville, a daughter of the late Daniel B. and Velma Mae Brubaker Gaberdiel, Sr. On December 8, 1962 she married Paul Irwin Reynolds, who died December 11, 2019.

She is survived by two children; Deb (Dave) Point of Delphos and Jeff (Jennifer) Reynolds of Harrod, four grandchildren, Ashley (Chuck) Wilson of Delphos, Brittany Point of Charleston, S.C., Corbin Reynolds and Sage Marie Reynolds, both of Harrod; two great grandchildren, Beatrice Wilson and Delilah Wilson, her sister Evon Becker of Newark, Ohio and her sister-in-law, Gloria Reynolds of Spencerville.

Ruthann was preceded in death by her two brothers, Daniel Junior (Marilyn) Gaberdiel and Paul G. (Helen) Gaberdiel.

She was a 1959 graduate of Spencerville High School and retired from Lima Memorial Hospital as a Phlebotomist. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church near Elida and a former member  of the Friends Church in Spencerville. She loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed her pet birds, knitting and crocheting.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, there will be a private family gathering on Sunday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. There will be a public graveside service at a later date in the Spencerville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vancrest of Delphos Activity Fund in care of the funeral home at 728 East Fourth Street, Spencerville, Ohio 45887.
